Essential Driver Training – EDT
Essential driver training has become a mandatory training course for all learner drivers of cars. It came into effect on April 4th 2011. It consists of 12 modules to be completed, covering the following areas:

Driving Lesson 3:
- Changing Direction
Driving Lesson 4:
- Progression Management
Driving Lesson 5:
- Correct Positioning
Driving Lesson 6:
- Anticipation and reaction
Driving Lesson 7:
- Sharing the Road
Driving Lesson 8:
- Driving Safely Through traffic
Driving Lesson 9:
- Changing Direction (more complex situations)
Driving Lesson 10:
- Speed Management
Driving Lesson 11:
- Driving Calmly
Driving Lesson 12:
- Night Driving
